Visitor Parking Information

AMP Digital Parking Meters

Missouri S&T AMP Digital Parking Meter is a convenient cashless meter system that utilizes geofencing instead of a traditional meter.

AMP is a simple and easy to use app that is available on iOS and Android apps.

Visitors may park in metered spaces, use available street parking, or purchase a daily parking permit from the Parking and Transportation Services office.

Visitor Parking

Visitors may park in metered spaces, use available street parking, or purchase a daily parking permit from the Parking and Transportation Services office.

For special events or extended visits, university departments may arrange pre-purchased parking permits for their guests. Visitors should contact their inviting department for assistance with parking permit arrangements before arriving on campus.

Accessible (D) Permits

D Permits are available to faculty, staff, students, and visitors who require accessible parking.

A D Permit allows the holder to park in any designated accessible parking space on campus, except those located in the subsurface parking garage. If all accessible spaces are occupied, D Permit holders may park in any regular permit parking space, excluding metered parking.

D Permits are valid annually from August 1 through July 31. For eligibility requirements or additional information, please contact Parking and Transportation Services.

Department Guest Parking

Departments may issue guest parking permits by sending permit invitations directly to visitors. Contact Parking and Transportation Services for assistance with setting up guest parking.

Guest permits:

  • Are intended only for campus visitors.
  • May not be issued to current Missouri S&T faculty, staff, or students.
  • Are not valid for metered parking.
  • Are valid only in the designated parking area(s) specified with the permit.
  • Are non-refundable if unused.
